Summary of Job: Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, Detailers, and Coordinators in the standardization and production of all Virtual Construction (BIM) Documents for Mechanical/Plumbing/Piping disciplines as required for manufacturing and construction operations. This position leads a team utilizing the most innovative constructive technology while incorporating expert trade knowledge to produce engineered construction documents, intelligent coordinated models, quality fabrication documents, and accurate installation drawings. This position leads a group providing value to construction operations by reducing on-site labor and rework through accurate drawing and 3D model coordination. High levels of collaboration are required to leverage engineering and construction knowledge and decrease construction costs and lead times while maximizing end-user value and experience. This position is the primary role for advancing and solidifying the company as the premier mechanical contractor in the performance and effectiveness of Virtual Construction, BIM, and Fabrication. This position will supervise VDC/BIM Project Managers of HVAC, Plumbing and Piping disciplines. It oversees main functions for a productive team such as setting and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI), tracking team productivity, time management, efficiency, quality and financial accountability. This position will also be responsible for owning and improving The Standard, our quality management system, as it relates to the Virtual Design and Construction Group. The position will also be responsible for working alongside the Director of Project Design in managing the P&L to established budgets. Education and Experience:

• BS or AS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science/Engineering, or
• Construction Management.
• Experience in leadership and direct supervision of technical personnel.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction based mechanical design and
• fabrication.

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in managing BIM/VDC Team
• Knowledge of mechanical and plumbing trades (Sheet Metal, Med Gas, Hydronics, Plbg, etc.)
• Desire to grow team in both size and experience and the group continues to support a growing projects group both locally in Franklin and regionally (supported from Franklin)
• Knowledge of all trades
• Ability to work alongside design-build department and designers to align field deliverables and coordinate in house design work

• Autodesk Navisworks Manage
• Autodesk Fabrication CADmep
• Knowledge of Robotic Total Station, Autodesk Fabrication CAM, CAD
