Job Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Math Instructor/Tutor to join our team in San Diego, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment
• Develop positive relationships with parents, establishing trust and confidence in our programs
• Become proficient in digital educational materials and processes, including the Mathnasium Method
• Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, using our proprietary methodology and terminology
• Assess student progress, collaborate with team members, and deliver exceptional results
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work, providing constructive feedback and guidance
• Maintain a clean, professional, and organized learning environment
• Support non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of our center

Requirements

• A passion for math and working with students of all ages
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Exceptional math competency, with a strong foundation in math concepts through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a high level of organization
• Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
