WeÂre seeking talented individuals to ensure our transcribed texts accurately reflect the audio content, covering various engaging topics like daily life, sports, education, and more. Background: This exciting project aims to establish a comprehensive audio database for Bashkir, enhancing how we interact with technology. Your contributions will directly impact user experiences across multiple fields! Project Period: October to December (3 months) Compensation: Annotator: $41 per valid audio hour Quality Assurance (QA): $30 per valid audio hour Career Progression: Annotator > Quality Inspector > Supervisor (limited positions available) Key Responsibilities: As an Annotator: - Carefully transcribe audio according to guidelines and submit your work. - Collaborate on modifications based on quality feedback. As a Quality Inspector (QA): - Evaluate and enhance the quality of annotations. - Provide constructive feedback to annotators for improvement. - Return low-level errors to annotators for correction without extended assistance. As a Supervisor: - Receive additional compensation for management responsibilities. - Train new team members on platform operations and procedures. - Answer questions and provide guidance, leading regular review meetings. - Monitor and assess team quality, selecting newly qualified annotators and inspectors. - Assist the Project Manager in managing team dynamics, including notifications, data conditions, and feedback. What We Need: - Native speaker of Bashkir. - Experience in transcription. - Strong reading comprehension skills in English. - Ability to commit 3-4 hours of work per day.
