[Remote] Director of Business Development - East Region
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bock & Clark (an NV5 Company) is a leading provider of commercial real estate due diligence services. They are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead sales efforts across the Eastern Region, focusing on building client relationships and executing sales strategies within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while sourcing new business
- Conduct cold outreach via phone and email to law firms, lenders, title companies, REITs, and corporations
- Utilize a consultative sales approach focused on securing end-user commitment for future service needs
- Develop a working knowledge of core service offerings and commercial real estate transactions (training provided)
- Research, plan, and execute sales trips; report outcomes and activity to management
- Manage territory strategy, scheduling, and reporting with minimal supervision
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of consultative sales experience, including relationship building, cold calling, and travel planning
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
- Business-related degree preferred
- Experience selling professional services or other intangibles preferred
- Background selling to law firms, working in the title industry, or within commercial real estate is a plus
- Experience with group presentations is beneficial
