[Remote] SAP Consultant (RISE with SAP)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Scalence L.L.C. is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant specializing in RISE with SAP. The consultant will lead SAP cloud transformation initiatives, focusing on migrating SAP workloads to cloud environments and providing technical guidance throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP landscape assessments, architecture design, migration planning, and technical implementation for SAP cloud transformation projects
- Support customer onboarding and migration from on-premises SAP environments to SAP RISE with SAP, HEC, PCE, PCE_TO, and EOS platforms
- Design and implement SAP S/4HANA migration strategies for Greenfield, Brownfield, and Hybrid deployment models
- Act as the primary technical consultant and single point of contact (SPOC) for cloud migration engagements
- Develop detailed project timelines, migration roadmaps, and delivery plans for SAP cloud implementations
- Architect SAP environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP hyperscaler platforms
- Administer SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP HANA databases
- Perform SAP BASIS administration, system monitoring, performance tuning, upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting
- Manage storage, virtual machines, file systems, sizing, database backups, and disaster recovery solutions
- Provide L3 support for complex SAP technical issues and production environments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, executives, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end SAP cloud solutions
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security standards, and operational excellence
Skills
- 8+ years of SAP BASIS and SAP Infrastructure experience
- Strong experience with: SAP NetWeaver Administration, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Database Administration, SAP Landscape Design & Architecture, SAP RISE with SAP, HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC), SAP Private Cloud Edition (PCE)
- Experience in Greenfield and Brownfield SAP implementations and migrations
- Expertise in SAP cloud architecture on: AWS, Client Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong knowledge of: Storage Management, Virtual Machines, File Systems, Capacity Planning & Sizing, Database Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery Planning
- Experience providing L3 support and troubleshooting complex SAP environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and database administration
- SAP ADM328 – SAP S/4HANA Conversion and System Upgrade
- SAP BASIS Certifications
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
- Client Azure Certification
- Google Cloud Certification (Preferred)
- Experience supporting SAP Americas customers
- Understanding of PCE, Non-PCE, EOS, and SAP RISE commercial models
- Experience with SAP ECS (Enterprise Cloud Services)
- Exposure to SAP Data Management and Backup Infrastructure
