You'll be responsible for providing critical engineering support to the maintenance and operation of aircraft and related equipment, playing an essential role in keeping our skies safe and operations smooth. Your Key Responsibilities as a Senior Engineer at arenaflex

As a Senior Engineer at arenaflex, you'll take on diverse and challenging responsibilities that will test your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. Your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency and safety standards.

• Technical Leadership & Training: Conduct comprehensive training programs for technicians in your areas of expertise, serving as a mentor to other engineers and helping them develop their technical skills.
• Project Management & Facilitation: Act as a team leader or facilitator over project management initiatives and issue resolution processes, ensuring projects are completed on time and within specifications.
• Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with manufacturers and regulatory agencies as required, ensuring that engineering procedures are properly validated according to applicable standards and arenaflex manuals.
• Procedure Development: Create customized methods and special instructions for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance activities that aren't adequately addressed in existing manuals.
• Daily Operations Support: Stay informed about daily airline operations within your area of responsibility, reviewing daily needs according to aircraft/departmental objectives and management directives.
• Problem Analysis & Resolution: Investigate aircraft/component issues that could cause flight delays or cancellations, excessive labor or material costs, or disruptions to maintenance operations, determining appropriate corrective actions.
• Emergency Response: Provide engineering support as needed during emergency situations affecting aircraft or components to restore operational status.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support operations or resolve issues.
• Strategic Planning: Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursue definitive actions according to prioritized needs.
• Effective Coordination: Coordinate with other airline departments as necessary to ensure effective and efficient implementation of engineering procedures.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare engineering documents to implement technical procedures by providing customized instructions for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities that deliver benefits according to airline/departmental objectives.
• Regulatory Awareness: Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming regulations that affect areas of responsibility, ensuring all engineering activities maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Education & Professional Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or related engineering certification
• 1 year of engineering experience in a related field or 2 years of experience without a degree

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related tools
• Ability to analyze technical data and make data-driven decisions
• Demonstrates aptitude, capability, and willingness to take on new roles and responsibilities
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations that inspire acceptance of solutions
• Capacity to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
