Our mission is to make travel effortless, safe, and sustainable, and we achieve this by empowering a diverse workforce of innovators, problem‑solvers, and customer‑centric professionals.

Why This Role Matters

As a Remote Customer Support Engineer you will be at the heart of arenaflex’s digital ecosystem. You’ll help shape the future of our IT landscape, ensuring that every interaction—whether it’s a reservation, a freight inquiry, or a technical support ticket—is handled with speed, accuracy, and empathy. This position offers a unique blend of software engineering, cloud operations, and customer service, giving you the chance to make a tangible impact on a world‑class organization while working from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Provide end‑to‑end technical support for arenaflex’s customer‑facing platforms, including reservation systems, freight management tools, and mobile applications.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues across multiple environments (development, test, production).
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Product, Engineering, Operations, and Security—to deliver rapid fixes and long‑term enhancements.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, deployment, and post‑release monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, monitoring dashboards, and incident response playbooks to improve service reliability.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud‑native solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Assist in the creation of technical documentation, knowledge‑base articles, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with customers via phone, chat, and email to gather feedback, provide guidance, and ensure a positive experience.
  • Continuously monitor system performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend proactive improvements.

Project & Innovation Involvement

  • Work on high‑visibility projects such as Omnichannel Experience, AI‑driven chatbots, and data‑analytics pipelines.
  • Support initiatives in DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Participate in agile ceremonies—scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives—to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Explore emerging technologies (microservices, serverless computing, container orchestration) and propose proof‑of‑concepts.

Essential Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (or recent graduate) with a minimum GPA of 2.5, majoring in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Security, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and version‑control systems (Git).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and logical reasoning abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a customer‑first mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
  • Commitment to safety, data privacy, and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database technologies (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins) and monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts, data analytics, or robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Prior internship or project experience in a large‑scale IT environment, preferably within the aviation or logistics sector.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate large volumes of data, extract actionable insights, and communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong teamwork orientation, embracing diverse perspectives and cultures.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving business priorities and shifting project scopes.

Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Technical Acumen: Proficiency in coding, debugging, and system architecture.
  • Customer Empathy: Ability to listen actively, understand pain points, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Critical Thinking: Evaluate complex scenarios, prioritize actions, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with global teams across time zones, fostering a culture of shared ownership.
  • Self‑Management: Organize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain work‑life balance in a remote setting.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices.
