We are human-driven and tech-powered, and we're looking for passionate leaders who share that vision.

Role Overview: Senior Manager II – Data Analytics & Product Insights

We are excited to invite experienced and ambitious professionals to apply for the Senior Manager II – Product Analytics position within arenaflex's Global Technology organization. This is a unique part-time, remote opportunity based in Sunnyvale, USA, offering a competitive compensation of $26 per hour for an 8-hour work schedule — perfect for professionals seeking impactful, flexible work without sacrificing career progression.

In this leadership-oriented role, you will serve as a pivotal bridge between product strategy and data science, guiding a team of analytics professionals while remaining deeply hands-on with data, experimentation, and business intelligence. You'll partner with product managers, engineering teams, program directors, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple geographies to build a strong data-driven culture that fuels smarter product decisions and delivers measurable business outcomes. If you thrive in environments that demand both strategic vision and tactical execution, and if you're passionate about turning raw data into compelling narratives that drive action, this role at arenaflex is tailor-made for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and Monitor Core Product Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead ongoing monitoring efforts to measure product performance, track product health, and identify emerging trends that inform prioritization and roadmap decisions.
  • Leverage Clickstream and Behavioral Data: Dive deep into clickstream analytics, user journey mapping, and behavioral data to uncover hidden opportunities for improving customer experience, reduce friction, and directly influence product roadmaps with evidence-backed insights.
  • Conduct Advanced Conversion and Funnel Analysis: Perform detailed conversion analysis, funnel analysis, and attribution modeling to understand how users interact with arenaflex's digital platforms and identify high-impact optimization opportunities.
  • Design and Execute Experiments: Plan, design, launch, and analyze A/B tests, multivariate experiments, and observational studies using rigorous statistical methodologies — including hypothesis testing, causal inference, and predictive modeling — to continuously evaluate new product features and enhancements.
  • Build World-Class Dashboards and Visualizations: Design intuitive, actionable dashboards and compelling data visualizations using industry-leading BI tools, making complex data accessible to non-technical stakeholders and enabling self-serve analytics across product teams.
  • Synthesize Insights into Actionable Recommendations: Combine data analysis, experimentation results, and market context to deliver clear, persuasive recommendations that address product improvement opportunities and drive tangible business impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Across Geographies: Proactively engage with product and business partners spanning multiple regions and time zones, building strong relationships, developing business acumen, and co-creating best-in-class data analytics solutions that respect local market nuances.
  • Collaborate Across Cross-Functional Teams: Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and Data Science teams to embed data-driven decision-making into every stage of the product development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and Develop Team Members: Act as a coach and mentor to analysts and junior data scientists, fostering professional growth, encouraging best practices in analytics, and leading by example in driving world-class analytical outcomes across the team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of professional experience working in e-commerce, consumer-facing technology, or retail analytics environments — with a proven track record of delivering analytics solutions that influence product and business strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in product analytics, digital analytics, or e-commerce analytics, with a deep understanding of how to measure user engagement, conversion funnels, retention, and monetization.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience querying large-scale datasets (millions to billions of records) using SQL-based technologies including MS SQL, MySQL, Hive, BigQuery, or equivalent distributed query engines.
  • Strong hands-on experience with analytics and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Google Analytics, Statsig, Quantum Metric, Splunk, or similar platforms for data exploration, visualization, and reporting.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and scaling A/B testing and experimentation programs, including test design, sample size calculation, statistical significance analysis, and post-experiment learning frameworks.
  • Solid foundation in statistical analysis — both descriptive and inferential statistics (including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and regression analysis) — with the ability to apply these concepts to solve real-world business problems.
  • Experience with predictive analytics techniques including segmentation, regression modeling, time-series forecasting, and natural language processing (NLP) to derive forward-looking business insights.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, compelling narratives that persuade stakeholders and inspire action at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or Computer Science.
  • Experience managing, leading, or mentoring teams of data analysts or data scientists in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack technologies including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing architectures.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams using frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of retail and e-commerce business models, supply chain analytics, customer lifetime value (CLV) modeling, or marketplace dynamics.
  • Experience with programming languages beyond SQL, such as Python or R, for advanced statistical analysis and machine learning applications.

Skills & Competencies That Drive Success at arenaflex

Technical expertise is only part of the equation. At arenaflex, we value professionals who bring a well-rounded set of skills and personal attributes to the table. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate:

  • Intellectual Curiosity: A relentless drive to dig into data, ask "why," and uncover the stories hidden beneath the surface — even when the answers aren't immediately obvious.
  • Business Acumen: The ability to understand not just the data, but the broader business context — translating analytical findings into strategic recommendations that move the needle for arenaflex and its customers.
  • Leadership & Influence: Whether formally managing a team or influencing peers and stakeholders without direct authority, the ability to rally people around data-informed decisions is essential.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: The retail and e-commerce landscapes evolve rapidly. You thrive in ambiguity, pivot when priorities shift, and maintain high performance under pressure.
  • Collaborative Mindset: You genuinely enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, and you see collaboration as the key to unlocking the best outcomes.
  • Attention to Detail: From the design of an experiment to the labels on a chart, you take pride in precision and rigor — understanding that small errors can lead to big misinterpretations.
