The Role

As a Customer Services Advisor at arenaflex, you will be an integral part of our multi-channel customer contact service, handling inquiries and providing exceptional support to our customers. Your strong communication skills, combined with your ability to work effectively in a team, will enable you to deliver a first-class service first time, every time. You will have the opportunity to work across both councils' premises, located in the south of Essex, and enjoy a blend of urban and rural characteristics.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service via multiple channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions

  • Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to deliver a first-class service
  • Utilize Microsoft Office packages to manage customer interactions and data
  • Develop and maintain a positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering high service standards
  • Attend both councils' premises, as and when required, to meet the needs of the service
  • Contribute to the development of unified ways of working, including common policy and processes

Essential Qualifications and Experience

* Strong knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office packages

  • Experience of working within a team in a customer-focused environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and attend both councils' premises, as and when required
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering high service standards

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a local government or public sector setting

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and data management
  • Experience of working in a hybrid model, combining remote and in-person work
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
