Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the success of our RedBox Rx pharmacy services. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting RedBox Rx customers via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Creating new patient profiles for patients, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
- Performing prescription data entry, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and facility policies
- Handling inquiries that do not require a pharmacist's expertise and judgment
- Assisting in adherence to quality assurance standards
- Adhering to all statutes and regulations pertaining to a pharmacy technician
Key Responsibilities
* Assist RedBox Rx customers via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Create new patient profiles for patients, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
- Perform prescription data entry, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and facility policies

Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified as a licensed technician through a certified national program and maintains continuing education requirements to keep license active
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk is preferred
- Strong leadership skills; ability to assist other members of the department
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to do logical or scientific thinking to solve problems; several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting in the preparation of accurate prescriptions
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
