Experienced Full Stack Live Chat Support Specialist – American Express Customer Experience

As a key member of our Computerization Development team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our live chat support capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

* Lead the acquisition and integration of continuous product development efforts, defining product requirements that enhance the customer experience

  • Utilize customer data, conversational analysis, industry insights, and technical expertise to evaluate the performance of existing solutions and develop future capabilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers across various value streams to deliver products that balance short-term gains with long-term investments
  • Work with the core product team to define customer stories, guide product definition, and establish comprehensive acceptance criteria, identifying and addressing any need for additional research to inform future feature planning
  • Lead customer testing and post-launch sustainment analysis of automation, identifying opportunities to improve the experience
  • Analyze performance metrics that demonstrate the health of the product and develop clear data-driven product recommendations
  • Maintain and refine the product backlog, prioritizing customer stories to meet the needs of the end-user while focusing on business value
  • Support the definition and development of the product strategy, guide, release plan, and overall customer experience
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and business partners

Essential Qualifications:

* Four-year degree in business, computer science, software engineering, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with conversational AI, natural language processing, or machine learning

  • Knowledge of customer experience design principles and human-centered design methodologies
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana)
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies
