Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions to ensure timely connections and minimize delays.
  • Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related incidents, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and vigilance.
  • Operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas, while ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
  • Utilizing baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to destinations, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT).
  • Commitment to safety and security of self and others.

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or airport operations role.
  • Knowledge of airport operations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with ground equipment and baggage handling systems.
