ABOUT YOU Dalberg Advisors is looking to hire a Data Science and AI Consultant, based out of its offices in India. The Data Science & AI Consultant is responsible for designing, building, and delivering AI/ML and generative AI prototypes/products that enable Dalberg Advisor teams and clients to solve complex, high-impact problems across its practice areas. The role translates ambiguous problem statements into deployable, decision-support products by leading end-to-end delivery from data preparation and model development to evaluation, visualization, and creating demo-ready prototypes/products while ensuring usability, transparency of assumptions, and ensuring a measurable impact of the deployed prototypes/products. WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW Principal accountabilities

  • Deploying machine learning and advanced analytics
  • Apply supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods (regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, prediction) aligned to the problem context.
  • Lead data preparation, feature engineering, and machine learning model training.
  • Define evaluation strategies and metrics (e.g., cross-validation, error analysis, bias checks where relevant).
  • Build reusable components (data pipelines, model utilities, evaluation scripts) to accelerate activities for other projects.
