Within Enterprise Solutions (ES), this Product Manager leads the vision and execution of an enabler roadmap, guiding IT development that aligns with and supports Delta’s Enterprise priorities. This role will support Delta's financial documents and ticketing processes, which allow Delta to fulfill, service, and properly account for its products. This Product Manager partners across the business and technology teams to deliver outcomes that balance speed‑to‑market with long‑term flexibility, while always creating value for Delta.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as product manager for Agile development teams, providing clear outcomes and backlog priorities.
  • Translate product vision into actionable, testable technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Build and maintain a value-based roadmap that optimizes business impact, delivery timing, and complexity.
  • Ensure solutions fit within the broader enterprise ecosystem, with sound upstream and downstream integration.
  • Collaborate across Agile teams to identify and manage dependencies.
  • Guide delivery to leverage appropriate backend capabilities and achieve intended business outcomes.
  • Work cross divisionally with internal partners and third-party consumers to meet end-to-end needs.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 5 to 7 years of demonstrated Product Ownership/ Product Management experience; the most compelling candidates will have experience in airline retail technology, or closely related industries.
  • Project management skills combining business acumen and technical fluency.
  • Able to clearly understand and communicate a business problem, its impact to customers, and why it is important.
  • Road-mapping & prioritization ability: connecting outcomes to OKRs/KPIs; value/effort trade‑offs; dependency orchestration across squads.
  • Backlog management: high-quality epics/features/stories, crisp acceptance criteria, and outcome based definition of done.
  • Stakeholder management: align diverse partners, synthesize input into decisions, and communicate changes clearly
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results orientation with strong prioritization across competing interests.
  • Data-driven decision-making: quantify problems, evaluate trade-offs, and propose solutions.
  • Comfortable with navigating through ambiguity to solve challenging problems.
  • Timely, accurate, and effective communication skills.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • BA/BS or advanced degree in a process/project discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering).
  • Systems thinking: understands APIs, data flows, upstream/downstream impacts, and non‑functional needs (reliability, security, scalability).
  • Data literacy: comfortable querying or partnering for data (SQL basics a plus), building dashboards, and telling a story with metrics.
  • Familiarity with airline commercial data/systems (e.g., PNR, Order, Booking, Ticketing) and/or Revenue Management theory.
  • Experience in one or more domains: Reservations, Airport Customer Service, eCommerce, Revenue Management, Sales, or IT.
  • Prior Agile experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
