Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and safety of our Discord server by enforcing community guidelines, addressing user reports, and promoting a positive online environment. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules.

• Delete messages that violate our server rules, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotional content + Harassment or bullying + Inappropriate or explicit content

• Ban users who repeatedly violate our server rules, after thorough investigation and warning.
• Mute users who have violated our server rules, to prevent further disruption.
• Investigate user reports of rule violations, and take necessary action to resolve the issue.
• Collaborate with our team to develop and refine our community guidelines and rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to our community members.

Essential Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience as a moderator or administrator in online communities.

• Knowledge of community management best practices and online safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with arenaflex's services and mission.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
