[Remote] National Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Originator

The National Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Originator is responsible for evaluating and selling mortgage solutions, advising clients through the loan process, and achieving specific loan origination goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the evaluation and selling of mortgage solutions throughout the United States
  • Advises clients on the home buying or refinance process while assisting through the loan process from application to closing
  • Engages with current and potential customers to educate and advise on how to best manage their mortgage finances
  • Required to achieve or exceed specific loan origination goals
  • Advises customers on U.S. Bank’s full product suite, providing the opportunity to make referrals to other areas within U.S. Bank

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Strong sales aptitude
  • Self-motivated with ability to achieve or exceed specific production goals
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous sales or customer service experience strongly preferred
  • Consumer Direct Lending experience preferred
