Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of our data systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions. Your expertise will be critical in helping us to make data-driven decisions, drive business growth, and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Develop and maintain ETL processes, data transformations, and data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance by implementing data access controls, encryption, and auditing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our data infrastructure remains cutting-edge
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Advanced experience in cloud infrastructure, data lakes, ETL, and data visualization
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance principles and practices
Required Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Advanced degree or certification in Data Science, Data Engineering, or related field (desired)
Required Experience
* Advanced experience in cloud infrastructure, data lakes, ETL, and data visualization
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance principles and practices
Pay & Benefits
* Competitive salary range from $137,250 to $152,500 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
