Job Description

As a Live Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for our viewers, handling their inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. You will be responsible for engaging and connecting with our audience through our online live chat platform, providing prompt and informative responses to their queries and comments. Your role will be to monitor and moderate any inappropriate or offensive messages, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate to the appropriate team member if needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with the Audience: Monitor and respond to the live chat on our website and social media platforms during specified hours, providing prompt and informative responses to their queries and comments. - Monitor and Moderate: Monitor and moderate any inappropriate or offensive messages, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for our viewers. - Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to the appropriate team member if needed, ensuring a seamless experience for our audience. - Keep Track of Common FAQ: Keep track of common FAQ and provide suggestions for improvements on our website, ensuring that our audience has access to the information they need. - Collaborate with the Social Media and Marketing Team: Work closely with the social media and marketing team to ensure consistent and effective communication with our audience. - Analyze Data: Collect and analyze data from the live chat conversations to gain insights and improve our audience engagement strategies. - Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media platforms, and new technology to continuously improve the live chat experience for our viewers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. - Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a live chat or online support role. - Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. - Multitasking: Ability to multitask and handle multiple conversations simultaneously, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Social Media Proficiency: Proficient in using social media platforms and live chat software, with a strong understanding of their features and functionality. - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. - Flexibility: Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
