Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for member issue escalation and resolution, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns
  • Respond to member requests via phone, email, and fax, ensuring that all inquiries are handled in a professional and courteous manner
  • Explain the member's customized benefit plan, as authorized by each individual group, and provide education and orientation on our website and services
  • Act as a liaison for member issues, including benefit eligibility, claims questions, and customer satisfaction, working closely with the Manager of Member Services to ensure seamless delivery of customer service
  • Perform other duties of a clerical nature as assigned or required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • At least one year of full-time customer service experience, with experience in a call center environment preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages fluently
  • Residency in Pennsylvania, with the ability to work remotely and occasionally travel to our office in Carnegie, PA for training and meetings
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote environment, with a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
