Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the Cumberland Grounds Complex: Watch the complex and examine unexpected events, reporting incidents and interviewing victims and witnesses as necessary.
• Respond to Crisis Situations: Answer crisis circumstances of different kinds at the Cumberland Grounds, providing support and assistance as needed.
• Conduct Security Investigation Visits: Perform security investigation visits, recording issues and advising appropriate staff.
• Operate the Security Control Room: Work the security Control Room, monitoring security check points and controlling events.
• Escort Partners and Guests: Escort partners and guests to parking facilities as requested.
• Perform Various Tasks: Perform different obligations as appointed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with Home Depot partners and guests.
• Reasonable Computer Skills: You should have reasonable computer skills, including the ability to read and write to review and complete required reports and record-keeping activities.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Security Experience: Previous experience in a security role, particularly in a corporate or industrial setting, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Security Protocols: Familiarity with security protocols and procedures, including crisis management and incident response, is an asset.
