We are looking for a Working Student in Product Management to join our Heartbeat Tech team in Berlin, Hamburg, or Munich. The Heartbeat Tech team drives the development of our end customer app, helping users understand how they generate, store, and consume energy in their homes. You’ll get hands-on experience working at the intersection of software, hardware, and clean energy — and help build the tools that empower thousands of households across Europe. Become a part of our mission and learn more about our Product & Tech team!

Deine Position

Join our Heartbeat Tech team and help shape the digital experience of thousands of end customers using our energy management app. As a Working Student in Product Management, you will support our Head of Product in building features that empower users to track, understand, and optimize their home energy systems – from solar to storage and beyond.

  • Support user and market research by gathering feedback, analyzing trends, and helping with competitor benchmarks

  • Assist with writing and maintaining product documentation, feature specs, and internal knowledge pages

  • Help prepare presentations and slides for internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with our Head of Product and your team to refine user stories, tickets, and acceptance criteria

  • Maintain the product backlog in Linear and support sprint planning, refinements, and stand-ups

  • Pull usage data from analytics tools (e.g. Looker) and help set up basic dashboards or reports

  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and other teams to align on product initiatives and user research

  • Help test new features, track bugs, and gather structured feedback from internal testers

Dein Profil

The successful candidate will have:

  • You are currently enrolled at a university and can work up to 20 hours per week

  • You are studying a relevant subject (e.g. Business, Computer Science, Design, Energy, or similar)

  • You have strong communication skills and enjoy working with diverse teams

  • You are confident in English (our company language); German is a plus

  • You work proactively, are curious to learn, and bring a hands-on mindset

  • You have experience with tools like Google Suite, Notion, Linear, Looker or project management tools — or are eager to learn

  • You want to make an impact and contribute to one of Europe’s most exciting climate tech companies

Benefits

  • You are part of a dynamic team with people who prove every day that they can make things happen and move companies forward with great positive impact

  • You move in flat hierarchies and have short decision-making paths. You can learn a lot quickly and get involved at different levels

  • You will be welcomed by a friendly and familiar team

  • You are part of the energy transition and recognize in your daily work what purpose it serves

  • You can work in one of our offices in Hamburg, Berlin or Munich

  • You create a healthy balance alongside your work and enjoy all the benefits of the EGYM Wellpass
