Mainframe Test Engineer - Resourcesoft, Inc.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in Mainframe environments, including MVS COBOL and JCL.

• Proficiency in software testing methodologies on Mainframe systems.

• Experience with creating detailed test scenarios and scripts.

• Experience in analyzing test results and identifying discrepancies.

• Experience with SQL for data validation.

• Experience with Serena ChangeMan or similar change control tools.

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to test coding changes on Mainframe systems.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios and scripts.

• Analyze test outcomes, pinpointing deviations from expected results.

• Support user acceptance testing activities with various stakeholders.

• Interface with external partners and internal systems for testing coordination.

• Contribute to the resolution of identified system discrepancies.

• Maintain effective communication with team members and management.
