Senior Ab Initio Developer - nTech Solutions

W2 Contract: 12 Months (likely extension)

Location: Remote

• This position is primarily remote. Candidates must be willing to travel to Reston, VA or Columbia, MD once every two months for PI planning at their own expense (without reimbursement).
• Candidates must reside in the Eastern time zone.

Overview Work with a leading healthcare organization as a Senior Data Engineer on a critical delivery team. This is a unique opportunity to support ongoing projects while a core team undertakes a massive, multi-year tech transformation to migrate the enterprise data warehouse from Cloudera to AWS Redshift. In this role, you will be a hands-on Ab Initio developer, ensuring the stability and performance of existing data integration workflows and providing essential production support within a collaborative, agile environment.

You will Develop, test, and tune new and existing Ab Initio graphs to meet business requirements. Provide production support by investigating and resolving issues and incident tickets related to ETL processes. Participate in daily scrum meetings, provide updates on delivery progress, and collaborate effectively with all team members. Work with Linux/Unix operating systems for development and support tasks. Perform data analysis, create complex queries, and assist in developing source-to-target mappings. Required Qualifications Extensive, hands-on development experience with Ab Initio as an ETL tool. 7+ years of experience working in complex data warehousing environments. Hands-on experience with Hadoop environments (e.g., Cloudera, Hortonworks). Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems. Strong experience with SQL and the ability to write complex queries. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS, particularly AWS Redshift. Experience in the healthcare industry. Experience with Git/BitBucket.
