Senior Full Stack Engineer

Coactive makes it easy to search, filter, and analyze visual content. Increasingly image and video data captures the content we watch, the products we buy, and the work we do, and already represents 80% of internet traffic. But rather than being an asset, visual content is often a tax or even a liability because it is so hard to work with and understand. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be a vital member of our AI Applications team with expertise in Microservices, SDKs and focusing on both frontend and backend development, you will play a pivotal role within our AI Applications team. Leveraging our advanced Multimodal AI Platform (MAP), you’ll bridge the gap between customer success, product development, and engineering to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate closely across multiple teams, serving as the customer facing Tech Lead while becoming an expert and champion of the Coactive platform.

• Act as an expert and advocate for the Coactive product, demonstrating its capabilities and value.
• Collaborate with the product team and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• Work with Platform and DevOps teams to deploy and manage services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure etc.,).
• Provide technical guidance to prospects and customers, leading Proof-of-Value engagements and technical integrations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support to sales and solutions engineers.
• Maintain clear documentation and establish streamlined processes to enhance collaboration.

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, including expertise in React, TypeScript, and advanced JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong experience in building distributed, scalable microservices with Python and FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles, such as solutions engineering or SME, is preferred.
• Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to develop solutions that drive customer success.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and executive audiences, including delivering demos and product walkthroughs.
• Ability to mentor both technical and non-technical team members.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast paced startup environment, including rapid prototyping, shipping GA (General Availability) products, and scaling solutions from early stage experiments to production ready applications.
•  Experience in building OpenAPI compliant SDKs is highly desirable.
