Jr. QA Engineer

We are looking for a tech-savvy QA Engineer to strengthen the front-end testing capabilities. The ideal candidate will help ensure product quality by writing and maintaining automated Playwright test suites, performing manual regression tests, investigating bugs, and assisting with support tickets.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Playwright test suites for web UI and API workflows.
• Execute manual regression and exploratory tests for new releases and hotfixes.
• Triage, reproduce, and document bugs from internal teams and customer reports.
• Collaborate with Support to investigate technical issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Refine AI prompt test cases to validate accuracy and prevent regressions in AI-driven features.
• Advocate for product quality by providing usability feedback and suggestions throughout the SDLC.
• Take ownership of assigned stories and ensure thorough testing before deployment.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in QA roles
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing and debugging tests
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar frameworks (e.g., Cypress)
• Strong manual testing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read logs, SQL, and application metrics for bug investigation
• Familiarity with AI prompting concepts (optional but a plus)
• Excellent written communication skills; able to document clear Jira tickets and support responses
• Independent, proactive, and comfortable working remotely while collaborating with the team
• Currently living in LATAM
