About the position

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care for patients with common health problems.
• Deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment.
• Practice under the direction of the designated nurse executive.
• Adhere to the Nursing Practice Act and Children's policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
• Must meet RN II clinical advancement program criteria.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN).
• HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire or transfer into position.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in pediatrics, NICU and/or hospital inpatient setting.
• Bilingual skills desirable.
