Position Overview

Join DoubleVerify’s cross-functional Streaming TV team and help build solutions that enable advertisers to reach audiences across leading streaming platforms. In this role, you’ll design and deliver scalable backend services and data-intensive applications that power our Streaming TV product suite. We're a technology-driven company tackling complex challenges with modern tools to build highly scalable systems. Our team develops products used directly by clients and deeply integrated with the AdTech ecosystem. 

What you will do

• Design and develop services that integrate with internal and external systems.
• Build data processing applications that handle and enrich billions of daily ad events.
• Review code, provide constructive feedback, and promote best practices.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to design, build, test, and support technical solutions.
• Continuously release features using automated infrastructure-as-code deployment tools.
• Investigate system issues, debug, and resolve production incidents.

Basic Qualifications

• Collaborative, resourceful, and quality-driven.
• 7-10 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient across the full development lifecycle: coding, reviews, source control, testing, and operations.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language.
• Deep experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Snowflake)
• Solid understanding of scalable, distributed system design principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Understanding of ad serving technologies and industry standards.
• Effective use of AI tools to enhance development productivity.

This position is full-time and located in our New York City headquarters offices offering a hybrid work model from office and remote.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $107,000- $213,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
