DevOps Engineer (Openshift)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in managing OpenShift and Kubernetes based environments.
  • Having experience in virtualisation(spinning up VMs) using openshift.
  • Expertise in Red Hat Openshift 4.x and Kubernetes administration.
  • Strong Background in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman, CRI-O).
  • Hands on experience with HELM, Operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals in Kubernetes (Ingress, Service Mesh, CNI Plugins).
  • Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD, Tekton or FluxCD.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform or Helm charts.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowerShell.
  • Experience in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenShift Logging).
  • Understanding of security best practices (RBAC, SCCs, Pod Security Policies).
  • Experience with CI/CD.
