As a Senior Java Software Developer, you will be a leader by example, a subject matter expert, and a strategic technical direction leader. You will interact with key client stakeholders, drive business ROI through greenfield technology solutions, and mentor your peers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and a thought leader in the tech industry
  • Provide leadership and guidance on big-picture business problems and goals
  • Mentor, train, and upskill your peers and clients' teams
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems using a range of technologies
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Proactively identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrate mastery of software development best practices, including Agile, DevOps, Test Automation, CI/CD, and TDD
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, such as AI, Machine Learning, Cloud, and IoT
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment with close interaction among different roles and teams

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-stack enterprise Java development experience
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, Bootstrap, Gradle/Maven, or similar tools
  • Experience with SQL, JavaScript frameworks, Angular, React, Version Control, and Agile
  • Desired experience with Kafka, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and developing applications for major public cloud providers
  • Extensive professional experience in Information Technology and/or Consulting
  • Successful completion of Callibrity's CoderPad and Code Pairing Challenges
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including influencing, professionalism, and accountability
  • Passion for learning and growing in your career

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
