As a Data Insights Architect, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into strategic insights that drive impactful business decisions. Reporting directly to the Director of Information Science, you will be responsible for leading data analysis initiatives, designing and developing insightful dashboards and reports, and providing expert guidance to cross-functional teams. You will be a key advocate for data-driven decision-making, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

  • Data-Driven Guidance: Partner with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
  • Insightful Dashboard & Report Development: Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using industry-leading tools to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  • Data Storytelling: Communicate complex data findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through the implementation of data quality checks and governance processes.
  • Advanced Analytics: Apply statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and data mining methods to uncover hidden patterns and predict future outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating data-driven discussions and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and resolve data-related issues, proactively seeking opportunities to improve data processes and workflows.
  • Data Pipeline Optimization: Collaborate with technical teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure efficient data delivery.
  • KPI Framework Development: Work with teams to define and track key performance indicators, establishing a common language for measuring success.
  • Data Democratization: Operationalize data processes to provide stakeholders with self-service analytics tools and resources.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven Expertise: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a high-growth, data-intensive environment.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Demonstrated ability to use data to inform business decisions and drive tangible results.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong understanding of data analysis techniques, including time series analysis, A/B testing, data visualization, and KPI definition.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics).

  • Passion for e-commerce, online communities, and the Amazon ecosystem.
  • Experience with Operational Excellence frameworks and KPI definition.
  • Experience working with software development and operational event data.
  • Familiarity with AI techniques such as regression, decision trees, and neural networks.
