Remote Technical Program Director - Amazon Advertising

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Director to join our Amazon Advertising team. As a Technical Program Director, you will play a key role in driving the technical strategy and direction of our advertising business, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services that drive discovery and sales for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute technical plans to meet business requirements, working closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Drive cross-functional coordination and prioritization to translate business and product requirements into technical plans and designs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, business partners, and engineering teams to drive alignment and execution on our technical roadmap
• Lead the development of new, large-scale, low-latency, and high-performing systems that integrate with core external systems and services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product managers, engineers, scientists, and customer research to develop innovative products and services

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams, with a strong technical background
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release plans

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience managing complex technology projects
• Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and planning release plans
