As an After School Teen Program Director, you will play a vital role in shaping the futures of our young members, empowering them to achieve academic success, good character, and a healthy lifestyle. With a rich history dating back to 1884, we have been dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for thousands of children, and we are now seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality programs and services to teenagers
  • Design and implement engaging programs and activities that promote academic success, character development, and healthy lifestyles
  • Recruit and register teen members, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all
  • Provide guidance and support to staff, promoting professional development and excellence
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, guardians, and community partners to ensure the effectiveness of our programs
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including COVID-19 guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, youth development, or social work
  • Proven experience in leading teams and developing programs for teenagers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate outcome-driven meetings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, as a condition of employment
