Principal Solutions Architect (Remote) - $24/Hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will have the opportunity to work with major UN organizations to accelerate and scale growth, reduce costs, drive efficiency, and leverage cloud technology to support their missions.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise and creativity to develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges. You will collaborate with business leaders, technologists, architects, and experts to help them solve problems and gain insights using the latest technologies and methodologies. Your imagination and technical expertise will connect technology to tangible solutions, with the potential to define or invent cloud-native reference models with the global AWS Solutions Architect community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach clients and partners about the latest AWS innovations and design patterns
• Engage with business leaders, technologists, architects, and experts to help them solve problems and gain insights
• Assist clients in envisioning the art of the possible, accelerate their operations, and recommend best-practice architectures aligned with their business outcomes
• Participate in and lead deep-dive education and technology design activities to create elite, Well-Architected solutions for UN organizations and AWS partners
• Advocate for the customer to drive continuous improvements to the AWS platform
• Support other members of the account team and bid teams in navigating technical responses to proposals
• Collaborate with wider AWS teams, Professional Services, and AWS Partners to deliver maximum value to clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with cloud design, systems architecture, software development, infrastructure architecture, data engineering, or DevOps
• Demonstrated ability to think about business, product, and technical solutions
• Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, and remote teams
• Verbal and written communication skills, with business-fluent English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience architecting highly available, durable, fault-tolerant systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal/vertical scaling
• Working knowledge of multiple technology areas, such as distributed web-scale web or mobile applications, Serverless, Big Data, analytics, AI, enterprise jobs (SAP, VMware, Windows, etc.)
• Working knowledge of cloud-native architectures; AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or equivalent certifications
