Job Description

The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate airline management courses, with a focus on our new M.S. in Airline Management degree. You will utilize innovative academic technologies and delivery platforms to teach online courses, and develop, maintain, and assess courses to ensure academic excellence. Your commitment to teaching, remaining current in the profession, and service to the department, college, university, and profession is essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate airline management courses online
• Develop, maintain, and assess courses to ensure academic excellence
• Utilize innovative academic technologies and delivery platforms
• Commit to teaching, remaining current in the profession, and service to the department, college, university, and profession
• Travel as necessary for the position (approximately 5-10%)

Qualifications

• Master's degree, professional doctorate, or Ph.D. in management, business administration, aviation, finance, accounting, or a related field
• Strong industry experience in airline management and active industry connections
• Teaching experience and strong written and communication skills
• A clearly defined teaching philosophy and demonstrated ability to engage and mentor students from diverse backgrounds
• Experience in course design and development for online course delivery and online learning management systems is preferred
