Lead Experience Designer (Retail Experience) - Shape the Future of Customer Engagement

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Envision, create, and maintain customer experiences for various consumer-facing products and services
• Provide direction and guidance to the design team, sharing expertise and feedback to drive design excellence
• Mentor junior designers, helping them develop their skills and connect with core disciplines
• Facilitate complex design programs, exploring user context, and engaging in insight-gathering activities
• Collaborate with partners in product, technology, and business to drive design solutions that meet customer needs and business goals
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies
• Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, ensuring strong design solutions that meet business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience
• 6+ years of relevant experience in experience design, with a portfolio of professional work
• Experience with Agile software delivery environments and common design software (Figma, Adobe, etc.)
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
• Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and customer experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design
• Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and/or CMS
• Experience working with design systems and digital product design in a retail environment
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product developers and build relationships with stakeholders
• Experience leading end-to-end design projects and contributing to multiple design programs or shipped products
