Impact Manager - Transforming Education in Boston

Job Description

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Impact Manager to oversee a team of 6-15 AmeriCorps members, guiding them through a full-time school-based service year. As an Impact Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading, managing, and coaching AmeriCorps members to deliver academic and student engagement supports, developing their leadership skills and civic capacity.
• Building and managing partnerships with school administration, teachers, and staff to ensure effective service delivery and student impact.
• Analyzing student-level data to inform service strategies and drive improvement in targeted areas.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to principals and school staff, contributing to instructional leadership teams, and fostering strong relationships with school stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience working in a school, educational, or youth-support setting, with at least one year of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Proven ability to develop and manage complex relationships, hold team members accountable, and address conflict effectively.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate AmeriCorps members.
• Passion for and understanding of City Year's work in the national service movement and education sphere.

What We Offer

• Competitive salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year.
