Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Math Tutor to join our team at Mathnasium of Seal Beach! As a Math Tutor, you will play a vital role in creating an engaging and productive learning experience for students. - Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students
- Establish a high level of confidence and program value with parents through positive interactions
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
- Teach in-center or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
- Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions and collaborate with team members to deliver the best possible experience
- Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
- Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment
- Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed
Requirements:
- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
- Energetic and confident personality
- Willingness to learn and be trained
