Manager, Data Science and Analytics - Digital Ordering

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Digital Ordering analytics team. As a fully remote role, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere. You'll oversee a team of data scientists and work closely with product, engineering, strategy, and operations teams to build and bring to market innovative digital products that help restaurants maximize their sales and growth.

About the Role

As the manager and lead for the Digital Ordering analytics team, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a team of Data Scientists in building software products and uncovering key drivers of our business
• Influencing the Product and Operations roadmap by making actionable recommendations based on data
• Interfacing frequently with senior leadership to showcase your team's work and tackle complex business problems
• Driving measurement strategy for the area under scope, defining success metrics and implementing best practices around experiment design and statistical analysis
• Developing a strategic learning roadmap based on data observations, strategic questions, and hypotheses

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience managing a team of data scientists in a formal or informal capacity, and a track record of delivering impactful analyses
• 6+ years of experience in Data Science and Product Analytics, primarily in related industries
• Strength in leading through your technical chops, and ability to leverage it appropriately in the business context
• Deep understanding of, and hands-on experience with A/B experimentation
• Experience with data pipelines
• Excellent communication and cross-functional working skills, including the ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences and influence strategic decisions
