The Opportunity

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will support the growth of CoinList by helping maintain accurate books and records. You will work directly with the Controller and CFO to oversee the execution of financial reporting.

You’re plugged into cryptocurrency markets. You are familiar with cryptocurrency or have interest in the ecosystem and follow recent developments closely.

What You Will Do

Accounting Functions

• Preparation of revenue, expenses, and digital assets for month-end close
• Preparation and development of workpapers for Token Sales, Trading, Lending, Staking, and other product offerings
• Understanding of intercompany activities (multiple subsidiaries and foreign entities)
• Assist in bills/AP processes (Wires, credit card, etc.)
• Cross-review of workpapers for all entities as needed
• Assist in gathering capitalize software information and allocation to ledger
• Knowledge of consolidations (IFRS/GAAP and foreign currencies)

Finance Functions

• Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Assist in weekly cash flow report and runway projections
• Track expenses from 1x spends (legal, consultants, projects, etc)
• Propose process and efficiency improvements as needed
• Ad-hoc projects

Audit and Tax support

• Work with the controller to complete audits of multiple entities
• Assist the tax preparation process with outside tax advisors
• Preparation of proper audit documentation and tax documentation
• Preparation of technical accounting memos as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with outside accounting firms

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience working in senior accountant role(s)
• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar degree
• Fintech background or interest in new technologies (ie. blockchain)
• ERP experience; NetSuite experience preferred
• Knowledge of other tools; Bill.com/Brex/Linear/Coda
• Startup experience; crypto experience is preferred
• Crypto experience preferred, but not required

Benefits

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 + equity

Salary ranges are determined using competitive market data and the final offer will reflect the candidate’s experience and location.
