Senior Sales Account Executive - Remote Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Account Executive to join our team at Delta Airlines. As a Senior Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and expanding revenue through dedicated programs and incentive drivers. You will be the primary point of contact for professional sports accounts and TMCs, and will work closely with our Corporate Sales, Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Contract Sales teams to achieve desired results.

This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary of $24/hour and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree and be based in New York, USA, with excellent English language skills.

As a Senior Sales Account Executive, you will design account strategies based on Delta Flight Plan and Global Sales plans, and will be responsible for growing existing business within the University and Professional Sports sector, as well as prospecting new business. You will also participate in DL-sponsored events and corporate-designated programs, and will be expected to contribute to Specialty and Global Outreach team objectives, focusing on improving Corporate revenues, premium revenue, and market share for headquarters and team-driven travel.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and expanding revenue through dedicated programs and incentive drivers
  • Driving Corporate revenue and share objectives with various departments
  • Building and maintaining corporate, ACS, charter sales, and industry association relationships
  • Collaborating with Global Sales associates, Sales Marketing, Global Sales Support, ACS, Contract, and Cargo Sales
  • Participating in industry events, tradeshows, and conferences

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. You will also need to be self-motivated, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
