Native Hawaiian Language Transcription Specialist (Future Opportunity)

Productive Playhouse is gearing up for an exciting new project launch and is proactively building a pipeline of talented Native Hawaiian Language Transcription Specialists. Although the position is not yet officially open, we invite interested candidates to apply early and be among the first considered when hiring begins.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately transcribe spoken Hawaiian audio and video content, ensuring clarity, grammar, and attention to regional language nuances.
• Review and edit transcripts for quality assurance, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with project managers and quality reviewers to meet deadlines and standards, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native proficiency in Hawaiian (speaking, reading, and writing), with a deep understanding of the language and its cultural context.
• Strong listening and typing skills, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain focus over extended periods.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive content with discretion and professionalism.
• Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Please note that candidates may be asked to complete a short test as part of the evaluation process to assess their transcription skills and language proficiency.
