Job Summary

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant will be responsible for collecting patient data, performing basic nursing procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. Essential Functions:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and toileting needs
• Collect and record vital signs, prepare patients for meals, and provide snacks and supplements as needed
• Assist with admission and discharge processes, including preparing rooms and orienting patients and families
• Perform point-of-care testing and report lab values to the Registered Nurse as delegated
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including hospital rooms and equipment

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

This is a non-management position that reports to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of a nursing assistant program preferred
• No previous experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in the role

Work Shift and Location:

Night shift at Greer Medical Campus, 1004 Greer Memorial Hospital, Department 10046425 Medical Telemetry.
