Remote Hospice Triage Nurse - Weekend Days (Part-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Remote Hospice Triage Nurse to join our team at Inspire Hospice. As a Remote Triage Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional phone-based triage and care to our patients and their families from the comfort of your own home.

Role Overview:

• Start Date: Immediate openings available
• Company: Inspire Hospice, a mission-driven organization
• Compensation: Competitive hourly wage of $25 per hour
• Location: Remote (must reside in Georgia)
• Schedule: Part-time, Saturdays and Sundays, 8 AM to 8 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and responsive phone-based triage, assessing patient needs and offering guidance and support
• Utilize our electronic medical records system to review patient histories and ensure accurate documentation
• Collaborate with our care team to ensure a comprehensive support system for our patients
• Manage patient calls with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and exceptional patient care

Requirements:

• Current Georgia RN license
• Residency in Georgia
• Prior experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care
• Access to high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace
• Proficiency in technology with strong keyboard skills and the ability to navigate multiple software applications
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and empathetic patient interactions
• Has a strong background in critical care or similar fast-paced medical settings
• Is highly organized and capable of multitasking effectively
