Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals
• Provide specialized instruction and adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of your students
• Create a supportive and inclusive virtual classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to develop effective strategies and interventions that drive student success
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings to ensure students receive the support they need
• Stay current on the latest research, best practices, and legal requirements in special education to ensure instruction remains effective and compliant

Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (master's degree preferred)
• A valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a remote or similar setting
• A strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
