Franchise Development Manager

This position will be responsible for signing SONIC Drive-in development commitments throughout the United States, owning the process from cultivating and screening leads to bringing them through the entire qualification process. The individual will devise a sales strategy, deploy localized recruitment plans, and interact with existing franchisees and external franchise candidates.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Three (3) years+ franchise development or sales environment
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Good business analytical skills including statistical and financial
  • Ability to effectively negotiate with small and sophisticated organizations alike
  • Understanding of the financial and contractual components of franchise agreements and deal structures
  • Knowledge of FDDs, legal aspects of franchising, contract content and construction and industry standards
  • Ability to successfully work on teams with diverse individual skill levels and field-based team members
  • Ability to multi-task by executing numerous projects with timely follow-through
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel
