About our client The company is a regulated, centralised cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in the Isle of Man, operating under the island’s Financial Services Authority as a designated business for convertible virtual currency. They are reshaping the exchange model by distributing 50% of our revenue to token holders daily in stablecoins (USDC/USDT) — delivering sustainable, real-yield returns rooted in actual trading volume.

About the Role

We're seeking a Software Engineer to help build and scale the platform. This is a long-term contract (6+ months) with a high potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role.

You’ll work alongside a lean and experienced team to develop robust backend services and dynamic frontend interfaces that power our exchange platform, rewards system, and user dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services

• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features

• Write clean, testable, and efficient code for both client and server-side components

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions

• Ensure high security, reliability, and performance across systems

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence

Requirements

- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development - Solid understanding of REST APIs, system architecture, and scalable backend systems - Experience working in or building financial systems (banks, trading platforms, fintech, or crypto exchanges) - Proficiency with relational databases and cloud infrastructure tools

Nice to Have

- Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) - Familiarity with crypto-specific tools and APIs - Knowledge of distributed systems or blockchain infrastructure
