As we expand our B2B presence in China, we’re looking for a B2B Marketing who is passionate about education and excited to introduce Cambly to organizations across the country.

Why This Role?

As an SDR at Cambly, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective B2B clients. You’ll play a vital role in driving pipeline growth by generating leads and qualifying opportunities for our Account Executive team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, storytelling, and being on the front lines of a high-growth, mission-driven business.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospect & Research: Identify and research high-potential companies, organizations, and education partners in the Greater China market.

  • Outreach & Engagement: Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate interest in Cambly’s B2B offering.

  • Lead Qualification: Qualify both inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations to assess fit and readiness.

  • Meeting Booking: Clearly communicate Cambly’s value and book meetings for Account Executives with qualified leads.

  • Content & Networking: Create engaging content on platforms like LinkedIn (e.g., articles, posts) to build awareness and credibility; develop personalized outreach strategies.

  • Event Participation: Run virtual seminars/webinars and attend relevant offline industry events to network and uncover new leads.

  • CRM & Reporting: Keep accurate records in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot), track outreach performance, and support pipeline visibility and forecasting.

What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of SDR, Inside Sales, or Outbound Sales experience in a B2B environment.

  • Proven ability to research, prospect, and create outbound lead pipelines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively.

  • Experience using LinkedIn, CRM tools, and other sales enablement technologies.

  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to building relationships and uncovering opportunities.

  • Familiarity with education technology or experience selling in the education sector is a plus.

  • Native in Chinese, with professional proficiency in English.

  • Based in Shanghai and familiar with the local business and education landscape.
