Job Description

The DCX Client Services - Home Based Project Manager will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client.

The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Role Details

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)

  • Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient

  • Salary Range: 40,000-50,000

Job Responsibilities

  • Take a project from sold to delivery, managing all aspects of each purchase, schedule, and communication

  • Perform all aspects of Project Management and Purchasing of products and services

  • Take the initiative in driving each project using organizational skills, clear proactive communication, documentation, and follow-up skills

  • Work directly with suppliers and sales team to understand project specifications, schedule, and specific client needs

  • Initiate and maintain close professional relationships with suppliers, sales team, and clients

  • Follow existing procedures for data entry and Project Management workflow or present new/updated processes to management, as needed

  • Coordinate project timeline with all affected departments, as needed.

  • Manage critical deadlines with resourcefulness, urgency, excellent communication, and attention to detail

  • Manage all proofing plus preproduction sampling and approvals with a sharp eye and urgency

  • Coordinate logistics of all material movement between suppliers and Lahlouh shipping/receiving departments

  • Track order status and update the system with any changes – review all updates with necessary parties

  • Review or request a person on site to check samples for quality to maintain quality standards and meet or exceed client expectations

  • Must have Project Management experience in the Printing and/or Promotional Products industry

Additional Job Requirements

  • Education: College degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.

  • Familiarity with aspects of being a distributor in the Promotional Products industry, decoration techniques, products, custom products and purchasing

  • Reliable and self-managed

  • Professional and pro-active communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong follow-up/follow-through skills

  • Focused on extreme attention to detail

  • Adhere to all procedures and work instructions to produce quality/timely product within budget.

  • Strong knowledge of PC Platform, MS Office Suite, and adept at learning new software programs (Commonsku, Veracore, Pace, SmartSheets, ASI and SAGE)

  • Ability to prioritize daily workload with a strong sense of urgency

  • Perform required record-keeping, updates, logs, etc.

  • Attend all relevant meetings (production meetings, team meetings, quality improvement meetings, training, etc.), as needed.

  • Poses a positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude

Software that will be used

  • Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

  • Proficient with Google suite (Google sheets, Gmail etc.)
