Competitive Intelligence Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Competitor Intelligence Intern to join the competitive intelligence (CI) team at Amex GBT. The successful candidate will report into the Senior Competitor Intelligence Manager and will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on competitor activities, industry trends, and market dynamics to support our decision-making process. The Competitor Intelligence Intern will work closely with the commercial, product and marketing teams to deliver CI initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research and analysis on competitor activities, industry trends, and market dynamics
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform business decisions
- Assist in the maintenance and development of competitor content, including battlecards, newsletter and CMI hub page
- Assist in the creation of sales enablement content, such as presentations and learning material
- Perform ad-hoc research and projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to identify market trends and competitor activities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and adaptable to agile work environments
