We are seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract professionals knowledgeable in transcribing depositions and hearings for a fully remote Independent Contractor role. Key Responsibilities • Produce verbatim transcripts from audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. • Ensure adherence to client-specific style guides while maintaining the highest level of accuracy. • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of legal terminology throughout the transcription process. Required Skills • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Exceptional listening abilities with a keen eye for detail. • Outstanding literacy skills, including spelling and grammar proficiency. • Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy. • Familiarity with processing sensitive audio/text content. • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting. Qualifications • Significant experience in legal transcription is required. • Familiarity with legal terminology is essential. • Candidates must be able to pass a background check. • This opportunity is not available for residents of Massachusetts or California.
